Trish’s Tiny Tots June Newsletter
My Dad
I love someone dearly. He's kind as can be; He makes me so happy;
He's my dad, you see. He takes me out fishing; We play ball and swim; He knows about everything; I'm so proud of him. And as I get bigger, I just want to grow to be like my daddy, 'Cause I love him so.

Welcome June! HAPPY ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO TRISH’S TINY TOTS! This year has been an amazing adventure for me and my family. I would like to thank each and every family who has become a part of the Trish’s Tiny Tot program.  You have all been such blessings to my life and to our program!! I am looking forward to many, many years of joyfully enriching the lives of children and building lasting relationships with your families!!

May was an exciting time for Trish’s Tiny Tots as we celebrated Mother’s day, filled our classroom with bumblebees and flowers, and saddled up for our western ranch theme!  Our program has made a few adjustments as we comply with the new WAC’s recently introduced for childcare providers in Washington State.  You will notice some changes on our playground, as well as additional posted material and an updated Parent Policy for your review, reference and signature.  If you have not yet updated your Parent Policy, please see me. Also, please note that the weekly lesson plans and menus have been moved to the preschool room instead of the foyer. Please take some time to check out the new material posted. There have been updates to emergency procedures as well, which has been quite the blessing for all childcare facilities because the safety of your precious children is THE most important task we must be entrusted to accomplish. All of these administrative changes have really allowed me to see many more opportunities we can take advantage of to serve our families with the best care possible for your children.

This Month: Weekly Lesson plans will be themed around Fishing, Camping, Father’s Day and Firework Safety! We will continue the process of ABC review as well as additional curriculum such as two letter sounds, and site words. We will learn the sounds of the letters, the sign and practice writing them. This month we are really going to focus on writing our names.  Many of our preschoolers have achieved this already, and many are really, really close! We will talk about shapes, colors and numbers and continue to review them for consistency. We will be learning about the months of the year, days of the week and the weather! Each week will also talk about principles such as kindness, honesty, forgiveness and patience. I encourage you all to review the work the children take home. I would like them to share with you the topics they learn about, so as parents you can continue to review with them for consistency.

Donuts for Daddy’s: Since Father’s Day lands on a Sunday this year, we are asking that parents sign up on our Daddy Donut sheet what the Daddy in your household’s favorite Donut is! If you could have this completed by Wednesday June 13th it would give me plenty of time to order the special treats for the children to give to their Daddy’s on the Friday before Father’s Day.

Parent Questionnaire: Please take time to complete the Parent Questionnaire located on the sign in/out cubbies.  I will be using some of these statements in my next childcare flyer. Your feedback is very important to me as it is a priority to serve your children’s needs and the needs of your own family values to maintain consistency, comfort and growth for your children. As Trish’s Tiny Tots celebrates our ONE YEAR anniversary, I would like to continue to evolve as accommodation is made for each and every family enrolled. Spread the word, we are now accepting ENROLLMENTS!!!!! J

Love and Blessings, Trish

One of many fun times with the Daddy of our home! Happy Father's Day to each of our amazing, talented, hard working, appreciated, dedicated and involved fathers.  Your role in the lives of your children is indispensable and utterly important in helping to determine the healthy development of your child. The powerful impact your presence makes, will forever strengthen the body, minds and souls of these precious children you have been blessed with.  Thank you, for all you do for your family's each and every day.  We APPRECIATE YOU!!

The righteous man walks in his integrity; his children are blessed after him. Proverbs 20:7 NKJV
